Born in Zambia to South African parents, I was raised there for 13 years and then relocated to Zimbabwe where I completed my O and A levels. I attended college in London and studied Marketing. I subsequently worked in Airline Marketing for premium carriers.
In 2003, I moved to Cape Town and initially ran my own business followed by 4 years with Cape Town Tourism as Marketing Manager and 2 years 4 months with the City of Cape Town as Destination Marketing Manager.
I currently consult independently to Tourism Boards in the SADC Region facilitating tourism marketing and development in the region with a focus on the matters that create opportunities for rapid growth and development such as the SADC Uni-visa, Yellow-fever free status and USD 150 million investment into the development of Victoria Falls Airport which substantially increases the airlift capacity of the airport from 500,000 to 2,000,000 passengers per annum... What an opportunity for the surrounding region of Zimbabwe, Zambia, Namibia and Botswana!
